Democrats Already Worried About Landslide 2022 Loss, Fear Getting “Caught with Our Pants Down”Democrats Already Worried About Landslide 2022 Loss, Fear Getting “Caught with Our Pants Down”

Joe Biden and the Democrats are worried. They have NO mandate from the people.

They have a razor thin majority in the Senate.

And the Democrat majority in the House is pathetically and historically thin.

Now…

Things are about to get much worse, according to Democrat aides.

While they publicly express confidence during the impeachment hearings, Democrats are worried that they will suffer a bloodbath election loss in the 2022 midterms.

Specifically, they fear getting “caught with our pants down.”

The trendlines already point to MASSIVE Republican wins.

But what about voter fraud?

Well.. the good news is that GOP legislatures in key states like Pennsylvania and Wisconsin appear to be moving to reform their election laws.

Will other key states follow suit?

More details below:

Many Democrats are openly voicing their concerns about their re-election 2 years away.

They are privately telling aides that it will be extremely difficult.

The Washington Examiner reports:

House Republicans are already feeling confident of taking back the majority in 2022, and some key Democrats are focused on the warning signs.

Both centrist and liberal Democrats are concerned that if Speaker Nancy Pelosi drags the party too far left, it will be doomed to defeat.

“You know, 2022 is already looking like a pretty formidable challenge for reelection,” said California Rep. Scott Peters, the vice chairman for policy for the New Democrat Coalition.

In a discussion about party politics with Simon Rosenberg of the liberal think tank NDN, Peters echoed other top Democrats who said that the GOP had their number in the 2020 election when they should have gained, not lost, seats on President Biden’s coattails. Democrats have just 10 more seats than Republicans.

“We were defined by Republicans in ways that were pretty effective around a couple of issues,” he said, citing open borders, socialism, and defunding police.

His group is urging the party to deal with those issues, especially socialism, which was a hot topic in races in the West and South. Peters said Democrats “want to concentrate on this attack that we’re socialists, and I think it’s on us to show how markets, capitalism can be put to work for everybody.”

But, he added, at a minimum, Democrats can’t “get caught with our pants down again.”

In thoughtful comments, Peters also said that unity and healing after the Jan. 6 Capitol protests is still coming, and he pushed back on those who would blackball Trump’s supporters in Congress.

“There’s still talk about whether, effectively, there’s a blacklist of the people who voted for the objections to the election. You know, it’s not my preference. I guess I sort of think that, in terms of redemption, it’s hard. Some of the people who actually got up there and incited the violence, I wasn’t working with them anyway. But, you know, some of them, they represent over 100 million Americans, these people, and it’s hard for me to see how we write them off. So, but I think that that has not healed,” said Peters.

That is a stark admission, especially when the party is focusing its time on impeaching President Trump… for nothing!

Remember… we are in the middle of a pandemic.

There is economic uncertainty.

Yet, the Democrats are focused on yet another witch hunt for a president who is no longer in office.

This will certainly hurt them in 2022, especially if Republicans continue to push for election integrity.

Specifically, there are 47 Democrats worried that Republicans are already planning on targeting them.

Democrats Already Worried About 2022 Loss

2022 is right around the corner, literally.

A lot can happen between now and then.

Fox News confirms that the Republican party is preparing for battle:

The campaign arm for House Republicans is spotlighting 47 seats currently held by what they consider to be “vulnerable Democrats” that they see as “prime pick-up opportunities” for the GOP in the 2022 midterm elections.

National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) chair Rep. Tom Emmer, in unveiling the list on Wednesday, vowed, “We’re going to retire Speaker Pelosi once and for all.”

The GOP controlled the House majority for eight years before losing control of the chamber in the 2018 midterms. But Republicans defied expectations and took a big bite out of the Democrats’ majority in last November’s elections and only need to flip five seats in 2022 to regain the control of the House. In modern times, the party that controls the White House traditionally loses roughly 25 House seats in midterm elections.

“Midterm elections are historically checks on the party in power and I believe that’s going to be bad news for House Democrats. It’s not going to be easy but we’re going to finish the job that we started,” Emmer said during a conference call with reporters.

Pointing to the 47 Democrats the NRCC’s targeting, Emmer said, “They include 29 Battleground Democrats where President Biden lost the district or where the 2020 presidential or congressional margin was within 5 points.”

The four-term congressman from Minnesota said his list also includes “eight underperforming Democrats, these are weak incumbents who won by less than 10% and underperformed the presidential ballot margin in their district.”

Democrats Worry About Landslide 2022 Loss

And Emmer said there are also what he termed as “10 Redistricting Watch Democrats, who currently represent districts in states that are going to gain or lose seats during the reapportionment, or they represent districts in states that have a redistricting commission.”

Looking back to the GOP’s victories the 2020 House races, Emmer emphasized “we’re going to build off of last cycle’s successful blueprint. That means we’re going to recruit great candidates again. We’re going to deliver a winning message to voters and we’re going raise the resources that are necessary to win.”

And pointing to the policies and proposals being pushed by Biden’s administration and congressional Democrats, the NRCC chair pledged, “Every voter is going to have clear understand of the Democrats’ socialist agenda and the damaging impact it’s going to have on their daily lives.”

Among those on the list of 47 Democrats is Emmer’s counterpart, Rep. Sean Patrick Maloney of New York, who recently took over as chair of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC).

Responding to the NRCC’s new list of “vulnerable” Democrats, the DCCC highlighted House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy’s refusal to discipline freshman GOP Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia over controversial comments she made before she won election to Congress.

Remember, Republicans dramatically outperformed expectations in 2020.

If they outperformed expectations when they were expected to do poorly, does this mean a MASSIVE red wave is coming since they’re expected to do much better in 2022?

Time will tell.

Hopefully the GOP will continue to embrace Trump.

That is their only way of remaining relevant. That’s why the democrats already worried.

  1. Lol. I don’t think there will be a democrat in office after a few years of Dementia Joe doing his best to sell our country to China. Even the snowflakes are going to finally see.
